who we train
HETIS is a higher education and vocational training institute dedicated to the field of social work and social care.
We offer accredited programmes from sub-baccalaureate / pre-bachelor to master’s level, combining academic teaching with hands-on professional training.
Our courses are accessible through initial education, apprenticeship schemes, and continuing education, with a strong focus on practical experience and social commitment.
WHAT WE TEACH
All programmes aim to equip future professionals with the skills and values needed to support vulnerable populations and address complex social challenges.
HETIS offers a wide range of degrees and qualifications corresponding to the various professional profiles involved in social and medico-social work in France. These training programs are organized into 5 Departments:
– Social Intervention (e.g. Social Worker)
– Early Childhood and Family (e.g. Early Childhood Educator, Childminder)
– Special Education (e.g. Social / specialized educator)
– Proximity Care Professions (e.g. Home care assistant)
– Management professions in the social and medico-social sectors
FOR INCOMING STUDENTS
HETIS offers semester-based mobility programs (taught exclusively in French) for Erasmus+ students in the following study tracks:
- Social Worker (“Assistant.e de Service Social”)
- Early Childhood Educator (“Éducateur/rice de Jeunes Enfants”)
- Special Educator (“Éducateur/rice Spécialisé.e”)
